- Pencil & Paper
Measuring tips:
- The best time of day to measure is in the morning.- If possible, patient should stand while measurements are taken.
- Measurements should be take against the skin not too tight or loose.
Where to measure:
For knee-high stockings:
- Narrowest part of ankle above the ankle bone (B)
- Widest part of calf (C)
- Length from floor to slightly below knee in a straight line.
For thigh & waist-high stockings:
- Narrowest part of ankle above the ankle bone (B)
- Widest part of calf (C)
- Widest part of upper thigh/groin (G)
- Length from floor to G in a straight line.
